Akira Yoshida

Ramen and Gyōza

For Akira Yoshida, the important thing is that his food speaks of the Japanese tradition. Every dish in his boutique savors of tradition and craftsmanship.

Akira Yoshida opened his first ramen bar in Rome in 2016, to immediate success, then a boutique in Mercato Centrale Roma. Now the artisan is ready to take on Turin with his specialities of Japanese cuisine, including but extending far beyond ramen.

The aromas and history of the Japanese tradition waft up from his every dish; you taste the goodness of the produce that he chooses and prepares with care and passion each day. Many styles of ramen are on offer, but so are other hallmarks of Japanese cuisine, from gyoza to onigiri. Whatever you go for, it will be a true voyage of the tastebuds, always with an emphasis on craftsmanship and the desire to tell the story of a homeland through its favorite dishes.

In the boutique: Ramen Black Shoyu, Ramen White Shio, Ramen Red Spicy, Ramen Tori Paitan and vegetarian ramen, among others. Plus gyōza, onigiri, yakimeshi, takoyaki, kasutera and other Japanese specialities.
