Raffaele D’Errico

Bread

Every piece of bread is important to Raffaele D’Errico, and at his bakery, the bread does the talking.

Raffaele D’Errico prepares his bread with sourdough which makes for a rich, moist dough, providing a crusty and flavourful product with a rustic taste and slightly moist interior. Working from the knowledge of mamme and nonne, Raffaele continues to search for the perfect recipe, retaining traditional tastes and aromas.

For 12 years, racking up hours behind the oven, both in Italy and abroad, Rafaelle has perfected the art of bread making, using niche ingredients with rich and authentic flavors.

At Mercato Centrale Torino, Raffaele prepares bread in front of the customers, but before that, he heads down to the market stalls at Porta Palazzo, where every day he picks up his materials for new bread creations and hot pizza topped with fresh ingredients.

Available at the store: a variety of top-quality bread, including baguettes, nut bread and olive breadsticks. For those who want a special treat, pick up a croissant for breakfast or a swiss roll for your snack, or try an Italian bombolino.
