Sabato Sessa

Sfogliatella Napoletana

For Sabato Sessa, family and the land are important. And the specialities in his store are scented like Naples.

Naples stands for many things, including delicious food and traditional baking. Sabato Sessa decided to bring his family’s values, those of his parents Anna and Gaetano, to Mercato Centrale Torino, making specialities with exceptional family flavours. Sabato communicates his passion for techniques and his enthusiasm for finding perfect ingredients to the third generation of Sessa bakers. Family, human labour and love for the land are the cornerstones of his cooking.

The star of the store? Sfogliatella, the sweet symbol of Neapolitan baking. Plus, there’s an array of Neapolitan speciality foods and some treats inspired by other regional traditions like the Sicilian cannolo.

In the store: sfogliatelle napoletane, graffe, pastiere, babà, caprese, pasticciotti, Sicilian cannoli and piccola rosticceria napoletana – casatiello, taralli, pizze ripiene, frittatine di maccheroni, sfoglia rustica.
