Luca Mastracci‘s shop
Pizza
Born in 1991 in Priverno, a small town tucked into the Lepini Mountains, Luca began his
pizza journey at twenty. A self-taught talent, he immersed himself in the world of Italy’s top pizza makers, spending years refining his dough and ingredients to shape a style rooted in tradition, yet uniquely his own.
After gaining experience in Italy and abroad, he opened his first pizzeria in 2017 in his
hometown. Since then, he’s earned national recognition and launched three locations
between Frosinone and Latina. Now, he brings his signature pizza to Mercato Centrale
Roma.
Luca’s pizzas follow the Neapolitan tradition: soft in the center, with a tall, puffy crust and a light crispness throughout, topped with perfectly balanced, seasonal ingredients. But they also tell a deeper story, one of the Lepini Mountains and the artisans who call it home. From the beginning, Luca has championed small local producers, highlighting both hidden gems and exceptional ingredients from across Italy.
At his food stall, he serves his own take on Neapolitan pizza, celebrating the authentic
flavors of the Agro Pontino, alongside a tempting selection of fried bites and classic “pizza a portafoglio,” folded and perfect for eating on the go.
