A passion inherited from his father Zelindo, together with the ability to find and extract these precious mushrooms from the earth. Over time, he has transformed Montanelli – the town where the Savini company is still based – into a small town famous for truffle enthusiasts. From father to son: Luciano Savini started off handling deliveries, including “waste” products, truffles that were too small or partly damaged during harvesting. Inspired, Luciano took matters into his own hands and decided to start selling the first decadent processed products. It started a success that has never ceased. Luciano Savini’s shop is recognisable by nose. In addition to the most classic truffle recipes – among them, egg tagliolini – are many other fragrant and tasty combinations, as well as plenty of products to take to home, bringing that very precious aroma to your table.
