Vinario4 was founded in 2019 by three wine professionals and passionate enthusiasts: Marco Ciccottelli, Matteo Zelinotti, and Riccardo Roselli. Their project was born from a series of fortunate coincidences and a shared vision: to tell the story of wine as a true expression of land, people, and ideas.

As sommeliers and wine communicators, the Vinario4 team has always focused on exploration, deep knowledge, and sharing what they discover. The project moves across different worlds, from wine communication to tastings, from major events to industry articles, all the way to building a community of fellow wine lovers.

Behind every choice is a thoughtful selection: wines that express real values such as craftsmanship, environmental sustainability, and a deep connection to their origins. Bottles that don’t chase trends, but celebrate true stories.

Vinario4’s Enoteca is the natural evolution of a journey that began with Mercato Centrale Roma, a collaboration active since 2019. From this partnership came well-established events like Due passi in vigna, a large-scale tasting experience featuring dozens of wineries and multiple editions over the years.

This ongoing dialogue helped shape Vinario4’s style, goals, and voice, now captured in a by-the-glass selection designed to engage international visitors and bring the Roman public closer to the world of wine.

The Enoteca is an open door to Italian wine: starting from Lazio and travelling across the entire country, with a few stops beyond national borders. It’s a place where tourists can discover Italy through a glass, and locals can explore and reconnect with their own territory.
