At Mercato, the beer is offered and served in a different way, with full respect for the tradition and country of origin, as well as seasonality. Tapping is the most delicate, an almost magical, moment. When done right, it enhances the organoleptic characteristics and makes the beer more digestible. The beer is never without – and must never be without! – the “two fingers of foam”, the scented and light quality seal that defines the Luigi Moretti brewery. In 1859, 37-year-old Luigi Moretti founded his “Brewery and Ice Factory” in Udine. The first bottle of Birra Moretti arrived on the market in 1860. In over 150 years of history, Birra Moretti has conquered new fans and admirers across Italy and all over the world, including those at the Mercato Centrale Roma beer house. Tradition, good taste and sincerity: values that unite Mercato and Birra Moretti, which still produces its beers following traditional rules, using guaranteed ingredients and a special blend of hops and precious malts that give the beer a unique aroma.
