Sabato Sessa

The Neapolitan Sfogliatella

Sabato Sessa greatly values the pastry of his own region, rooted in tradition and craftsmanship. The specialties of his shop carry the aroma of Naples.

The Sessa 1930 pasticceria (patisserie), with its sfogliatella, is a symbol of Naples. The history of the pasticceria began with Sabato Sessa’s parents and is now in its third generation with his son Gaetano. Sabato has chosen to preserve the family values, always connected to the region, to exploration, and to the passion for culinary art, creating and shaping his specialties in the pastry workshop.

The absolute protagonist of the shop is the sfogliatella, sweet embodiment of Neapolitan tradition. Every day, the pastry is wisely worked and combined with selected raw ingredients that are always seasonal.

In the shop, you can also find other goodness representing the sweet tradition of Naples, with a glance at the temptations of Puglia, such as pasticciotti, as well as traditional sweets like donuts, filled with chocolate.
