Cuisine from Rome comes to Turin in Stefano Callegari’s store, where love can be found in every bite.
Trapizzino is a white triangle-shaped pizza pocket, Roman-style, delivered steaming hot, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It’s filled with sauce and typical, traditional Roman fillings and slow cooked with the same passion and care handed down by Italian mamme, zie and nonne. The menu is changed every day at the store and selected from more than 30 recipes of these delicious stuffed slices, so while you’ll always have a chance to try the classics, every day offers something new. It all started in Testaccio, in Rome, in 2008 with the aim of rediscovering and appreciating traditional recipes in a new way. Harking back to the recipes of the past, it turned out everyone loved it, even kids, with its simple ingredients and patient preparation, sauce bubbling in a pan and mouthwatering goodness.

Available at the store: As per the Roman tradition, fillings include meatballs, chicken cacciatore, rolls with Roman-style sauce, tongue in salsa verde, parmigiana and octopus with sauce.
