“Marcello, be a good boy or else the Magorabin will get you!” This is what Marcello Trentini’s grandmother always used to say when he was making trouble, later inspiring his culinary adventure. Anyone who knows Trentini would call him eclectic, someone who thinks outside the box, unconventional. He has an artistic background that’s been best expressed on the stove, where he produces innovative dishes that are a nod to the most important restaurants and international, starred chefs. A starred chef himself, Trentini has worked all over the world, learning something along the way and picking up a new ingredient to add to his dishes. In addition to 0 km foods, Trentini’s research has led him to impeccably high-quality ingredients. At Mercato Centrale Torino under the name Fata Verde, the Magorabin’s green sister, his dishes are all made with seasonal vegetables. His menu isn’t exclusively vegan or vegetarian, as some of his recipes contain cheese and fish. He also offers freshly-prepared juices.
Available at the store: lasagne and eggplant parmesan that can be eaten right away or bought as take-away and delicious and refreshing juices for both a quick break or a long recharge, as well as fresh and seasonal fruits and vegetables with Marcello’s tasty touch.
