Matteo and Fabio’s cornetti salati are artisanal, as are the fillings which are inspired by Roman cuisine. The fillings are made using traditional methods, but with a touch of modernity and a pinch of playfulness, elements that characterize their cooking.
While forming this project, Matteo and Fabio asked themselves what was a product that Italians consume every day, and how they could make it innovative. They thought of the classic Italian breakfast and instead of proposing yet another sweet variant of a cornetto, they decided to make it savory and accompany it with gourmet creams.
At the store in the Mercato, there are three types of fillings that are reminiscent of traditional sauces and nonna‘s cooking. Matteo and Fabio firmly believe that to enjoy their cornetti to the max, you need to get messy, otherwise you can’t fully appreciate the taste!
