Pizza that goes crunch, crunch, crunch

In Giovanni Mineo and Simone Lombardi’s store at the Mercato Centrale Milano, you’ll find originality, contemporaneity, and aromas.

Crosta was formed in 2018, and reveals a contemporary pizza with refined ingredients that manages to amaze those who choose their pizzas, bite after bite.
At the Mercato Centrale Milano, their excellent pizza alla pala is exceptionally round, while still maintaining its simplicity and genuineness. The ingredients are chosen with great care and each dough has a yeast base containing two grains, semi-wholemeal and organic, with extra-virgin olive oil, salt and water. The result? A cloud of 93% hydration, crunchy on the outside yet melt-in-your-mouth inside. Taste the more traditional versions of Marinara and Margherita, making sure to try the Lombard reinterpretation of the Margherita that has added raspadüra cheese, or the Bufala and Diavola based on ‘nduj (spicy spreadable pork sausage from Calabria). One of the most loved is the pizza with fluffy potatoes, Genoese pesto, and crescenza cheese. The goodness has to be tasted fresh from the oven while it’s still steaming, perfect at any time of the day.
